I am going to wait for the HD or Full HD version. Hope they will be up soon but then again HD and espacially Full HD takes time to encode. I tested it recently with my PC and 720p took six hours.

encoding from a normal torrented raw takes me 1 hr on my Q8200, but teh raws we use are very high quality and in a compltetly different type of format. That takes 6 hours on a server that's even faster than my processor.
the issue is that these high quality raws take time to release. dont expect HD in the next 10 hours.

Uh one hour for a torrent raw, that makes my computer cry at nights I think

*edit* hd working on ps3. + it's hard to see the lower half of the g and q and all these letters on D: you should move the subs like 2mm higher should work not sure D:

hmm that's weird the issue is probably from your side maybe the subs are cut off at your screen

If you can, try changing the mode on your TV. (Widescreen, Full, Fit, Stretch, etc.)

The ps3 displays videos in 1:1 pixel ratio ,most tvs use overscan and crop the image slighty so ya need a tv with a justscan or similar option to view all the picture, so will the hd episodes play on the ps3 from now on, that would be awesome

well i don't want to buy a new tv just for this subs D:

HD worked on others' ps3

all movies on the ps3 can be watched through 3 settings atleast, normal, zoom, and another one.... while in the video hit triangle and look around for some settings.....

I dunno if you already tried this but...

I tested it on my PS3 and TV (Sony 40 inch KD something)

The PS3 has two different settings. First the setting 'Original' which shows the original video resulution and second the 'Normal' setting which shows the video full screen.
My TV has three different settings. First 'Zoom', second 'Smart' and thrid 'Wide'

If you put the PS3 on 'Normal' and the TV on 'Wide' the letters g,j,y ect. can not be read because the letters are cut in half. On 'Zoom' and 'Smart' I can not see any subtitles.
BUT ON MY TV if you set the PS3 on 'Original' and the TV either on 'Zoom' or 'Smart' you have full screen resulution and complete subtitles.

The quality is good too but I can only speak for myself because this is the first Full HD TV I ever owned. Here in Germany the HD technoligy is not as widespread as in the United States.

I am curios about the 1080p FHD version of yours. Let's see how it works on my PS3.

No it does not, same problem as last few fhd's. no video, only sound But I am happy that the 720p works just fine. Thank you guys

Maybe Ps3 isnt able to run FHD...? Like DVD players can run only to 704x400, more than this and u get only audio.

It should be able to...

I refuse to believe that the PS3 isn't able to play a stupid video file, since it has the same processor that is in the road runner....
